Ashlee Field

Clinical Psychologist

Ashlee has worked in community and private settings. She works with individual clients (both adults and youth) and couples from all backgrounds. Additionally, she has experience in developing and facilitating group interventions with both adolescents and adults.

Ashlee is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to manage difficulties, build resilience, and reach client goals. Furthermore, Ashlee regards the therapeutic relationship as a fundamental aspect of therapy and always strives to create a safe and nurturing environment for her clients.

She has experience in strength-based interventions, which enforce the notion that we may not have control over the stressful events that occur in our life but we do control how we respond to them. Ashlee believes times of stress and change can also provide opportunities for growth and acceptance. The evidence based therapeutic techniques utilised by Ashlee include: cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness.

Ashlee’s clients would describe her as warm, empathetic, and encouraging.
