Charlotte Workman


Charlotte is a registered psychologist with AHPRA and a member with the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI). She has experience working with a range of presentations including perinatal mental health, parenting, mood disorders, anxiety and trauma.

Charlotte is described as nurturing, empathetic and warm. She is a strong advocate for her clients and has demonstrated an effortless ability to connect and attune with individuals from all walks of life with her friendly and approachable disposition. Charlotte is passionate about establishing strong client – therapist relationships and understands that genuine connection is one of the core foundations needed for success in therapy. She ensures all individuals feel safe, supported and empowered and believes all emotions are safe to be felt.

Charlotte is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and can provide this to a range of presenting issues. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy and often uses a combination of Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy.

Charlotte works from a strengths based approach which means finding the little wins and celebrating those often with her clients. She values feedback and engages in regular self-reflection to ensure she is adequately meeting the needs of all clients.
