Denise Zammit


Denise (BA(Psych)(Hons), MA Psych(Clin)), has been a registered Psychologist since 2010, after completing the requirements of the Masters of Clinical Psychology at Deakin University in 2009. She has worked in the areas of, forensic psychology and forensic disability, neurorehabilitation (hospital setting), with TAC and workcover and DVA clients, pain management, private practice, headspace (youth mental health), and refugee mental health. She is also proficient in writing forensic reports for court, and for the purposes of recommending offence specific treatment.

Therapeutically, she is proficient in working with adults and adolescents across the lifespan, and she adapts her therapeutic style to fit with the client. She is proficient at engaging clients in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy for more complex clients, and uses aspects of humanistic, existential and emotion-focused approaches.

She is also interested in body-focused therapies for trauma-related presentations.

Denise is available for appointments on Mondays from our Fairfield clinic.
