Miran Simovich



Miran is a qualified counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association. She enjoys
working with young people and adults from all cultural backgrounds. Miran is passionate about
helping people to make positive changes in their lives, using various approaches that she trusts will
best suit the individual’s needs.

She believes that counselling is about forming a therapeutic alliance with the individual in which
both the counsellor and client can collaboratively work together to achieve the client’s goals. She
aims to ‘walk’ alongside her clients as they learn to face and challenge their thoughts, feelings and

Miran’s non-judgmental, accepting and empathetic approach allows her to connect with her clients
on a deeper level using emotion-focused and mindfulness strategies. Miran also has training in
Applied Behaviour Analysis and is able to perform one on one therapy to children and young adults
with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
