Philippa Page

Psychologist

Philippa is a registered psychologist who works with adolescents, adults and couples. She prides herself on making all clients feel welcome and comfortable in the therapeutic space. Philippa likes to take the time to deeply understand each individual client so she can cater her therapeutic approach to the individual. She sees the client as the expert in the room and taps into their knowledge of themselves and their presenting issues to collaboratively work through and understand the issue together.

Philippa endeavours to help clients develop long lasting strategies and insight into themselves to be able to use and apply outside of the therapeutic space.

Philippa has a special interest in relationships and working with couples. She works with couples to help identify any repetitive patterns and dynamics in their relationship and then investigates where these patterns may stem from within each individual partner, to help the couple develop a deeper understanding of each other and the relationship.

Philippa is a client centred therapist and draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Emotion Focused Therapy.

Her clients would describe her as friendly and warm but also straightforward and insightful within the therapeutic process.
