Graeme Lewis

Director and Principal Psychologist

Graeme Lewis is one of Reflection Psychology Group’s principal clinical psychologists who has over 20 years’ of experience in working in private practice.

He worked in law before embarking on his psychology career, and he chose to give up law because of his passion for assisting others with their personal growth and healing. Graeme works primarily with adults and older adolescents, and he has a deep respect for how each of his clients have been shaped by their personal life-stories. He believes that growth is facilitated by developing an understanding of how current struggles are influenced by previous life experiences.

Graeme focusses on building an authentic, compassionate and deeply caring connection with his clients; and through a collaborative therapeutic process his clients are equipped with insight, understanding and tools to navigate and overcome the difficulties that they are encountering in their lives.

Graeme tailors each therapeutic encounter to his client’s individual needs by using an Integrative approach that draws upon the following broad range of therapeutic modalities: psychodynamic theory, self-psychology, relational therapy, attachment theory, person-centred therapy and cognitive therapy.

Graeme’s clients describe him as nurturing, insightful, warm, caring and authentic.
