Paula Verity
Psychologist
Paula is a registered forensic psychologist who has over twenty years of experience working in psychiatric, correctional, legal and private practice settings. Paula works with older adolescents (16+) and adults, in relation to a range of mental health conditions, life transitions and problem behaviours.
Paula is influenced by various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy. She has a warm and nurturing approach and enjoys working collaboratively with her clients to develop greater insight, agency and wellbeing.
Paula tailors her approach to meet the individual needs of each client, and is particularly motivated to create a safe and supportive therapeutic space. Paula is described by her clients as gentle, caring and supportive. She has a warm and friendly approach and feels genuinely humbled by the opportunity to support her clients in making meaningful and positive changes to their lives.
